Managerial Positions – Lead and Execute Mega Projects
1. Piping Manager
Oversee all piping-related operations including planning, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning. Experience in international codes (ASME, API, ISO) and large-scale refinery or LNG projects preferred.
2. E&I Manager
Responsible for managing electrical and instrumentation activities. Must have a strong understanding of control systems, DCS, PLC, loop checking, and calibration. Gulf experience is an added advantage.
3. Pre-Commissioning Manager
Lead the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for mechanical and E&I systems. Experience in system turnover, testing, and final handover to operations team is essential.
4. Painting & Insulation Manager
Manage surface preparation, coating, painting, and insulation works. Must be well-versed with industry standards like NACE, SSPC, and insulation materials for high-temperature systems.
5. Fabrication Shop Manager
Head the fabrication workshop for structural steel and piping spools. Experience in welding techniques, QA/QC coordination, and shop productivity management is crucial.
Planning Engineers – Project Scheduling and Monitoring
1. Piping Planning Engineer
Expert in preparing piping work schedules, tracking progress, and coordinating with site execution teams. Primavera P6 proficiency required.
2. E&I Planning Engineer
Responsible for planning and scheduling of electrical and instrumentation works. Must be skilled in preparing look-ahead plans and S-curves.
3. Mechanical Planning Engineer
Prepare and monitor mechanical equipment installation schedules. Must coordinate closely with equipment suppliers and erection teams.
4. Structural Planning Engineer
Plan and sequence structural steel erection, welding, and alignment. Experience in using 3D models and planning software preferred.
5. Painting & Insulation Planning Engineer
Develop work schedules for painting and insulation based on isometrics and drawings. Must have a clear understanding of workfront availability and material tracking.
Engineering Positions – Technical Expertise in Core Disciplines
1. Project Control Engineer
Monitor overall project progress, cost control, risk analysis, and reporting. Must be experienced in EPC project lifecycle management.
2. Scheduling Engineer
Prepare detailed project schedules and milestones using Primavera. Identify critical paths and ensure timely completion.
3. Mechanical Engineer
Involved in equipment erection, alignment, testing, and maintenance. Knowledge of rotating and static equipment essential.
4. Welding Engineer
Handle WPS/PQR procedures, welder qualifications, and welding techniques (SMAW, GTAW, FCAW). Experience with exotic materials is a plus.
5. Scaffolding Engineer
Design and approve scaffolding structures for safe access. Familiarity with OSHA and international safety standards required.
6. Structural Engineer
Review structural drawings, perform load calculations, and supervise erection. Strong foundation in steel structures and design codes necessary.
QA/QC Engineers & Inspectors – Ensure Quality at Every Stage
1. QA/QC Piping Engineer / Inspector
Perform inspections, conduct hydro testing, and verify installation compliance. Familiar with ASME B31.3 and B31.1 standards.
2. QA/QC Welding Engineer / Inspector
Check weld joints, NDT reports, and weld map tracking. Should be certified in CSWIP, AWS, or equivalent.
3. QA/QC Painting Inspector
Inspect surface prep, coating application, DFT measurements, and finish quality. NACE Level II/III certified preferred.
4. QA/QC E&I Inspector
Verify cable routing, termination, loop checks, and instrumentation calibration. Must have experience with industrial electrical systems.
5. QA/QC Material Inspector
Check incoming material, verify MTCs, and conduct inspections per client requirements.
6. QA/QC Mechanical Inspector
Inspect equipment installation, alignment, and pre-commissioning checks.
7. QA/QC Scaffolding Inspector
Ensure scaffold safety, load compliance, and tagging systems.
8. QA/QC Structural Inspector
Verify structural assembly, bolting, welding, and compliance with design drawings.
Superintendent Roles – Field Execution Leadership
1. Piping Superintendent
Lead piping crews, ensure productivity, and resolve field issues. Strong communication and planning skills required.
2. Structural Superintendent
Supervise structural fabrication and erection activities. Should be experienced in lifting plans and alignment procedures.
3. Scaffolding Superintendent
Manage scaffolding teams, ensure safety compliance, and daily progress.
4. Equipment Superintendent
Oversee equipment erection, alignment, and commissioning support.
Supervisor Roles – Direct Supervision and Reporting
1. Piping Supervisor
Coordinate daily piping activities, manpower, and material usage.
