Candidate Requirements

Minimum 10 years of proven experience in the oil & gas industry
Strong expertise in offshore subsea pipelaying inspection
Possession of a Diploma or Engineering Degree in Mechanical/Metallurgy/Welding or equivalent field
Minimum of 2 years’ experience after obtaining valid certification
Mandatory certifications: CSWIP 3.2.2 or AWS SCWI
Thorough knowledge of welding codes, standards, and inspection procedures
Ability to prepare and maintain inspection documentation and reports
Experience with international oil & gas contractors and offshore project sites
Good communication skills and teamwork abilities

Job Responsibilities

Conduct welding inspections as per project specifications and industry standards
Monitor offshore welding activities during subsea pipelaying operations
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and technical standards
Prepare inspection reports, checklists, and maintain accurate documentation
Coordinate with QA/QC teams and project engineers
Identify and report welding defects or deviations
Support third-party inspection activities when necessary
Ensure proper qualification and certification of welders and procedures
