Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 7 years’ verifiable experience in oil & gas / offshore projects.
- Previous offshore experience is mandatory — demonstrated offshore assignments on CV.
- Valid offshore certifications: BOSIET / FOET, HUET, H2S, Sea Survival as applicable.
- Relevant technical qualifications and inspection certifications (e.g., NDT, Welding Inspector credentials, CompEx where specified).
- Strong knowledge of offshore quality procedures, MP, ITPs, NCR control and client QA/QC systems.
- Ability to work rotational offshore schedules and comply with all safety & medical requirements.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Previous work with major EPC contractors (McDermott, Technip, Subsea companies) is highly regarded.
- Experience with API, ASME, ISO welding & inspection standards.
- Good English communication for client reporting and offshore handovers.
- Computer literate — MS Office, QC reporting tools, inspection databases.
- Valid passport and willingness to travel for pre-joining checks and client interviews.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and quality checks in compliance with project NDT / welding / coating / mechanical / E&I specifications.
- Prepare and submit inspection reports, NCRs, and daily QA/QC reports to client and MEMS QA team.
- Perform pre-commissioning and pre-start quality verification as required.
- Coordinate with site leads, subcontractors and client quality representatives on non-conformances and corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, calibration logs and test certificates.
- Uphold all offshore HSE policies, participate in toolbox talks and ensure compliance with BOSIET / HUET safety protocols.
